Emma Shaw

Emma Shaw is a Woven Textile Designer based in London.

Throughout my studies at Loughborough University I have been able to develop my skills and experiment with different techniques. The majority of my inspiration has been based on the spectacular landscapes and scenery of the North Yorkshire Moors and surrounding countryside where I was born and raised. Family roots and experiences are hugely important to me and can be incredible resources of inspiration. Growing up on a farm I have always been proactive and eager to try new experiences with a hands on approach, mixing that with a love of creative design weaving became a natural progression. One that I have enjoyed every minute of.
